Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Sweater It's true that I've only worn this sweater once, but the fit of the sweater and feel of the yarn are wonderful. While out and about, several people on the street, whom I didn't know, stopped me to ask where I had gotten it and those I was with commented on how much they loved everything about it and how smart it was without being trendy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful sweater This sweater exhibits fine craftsmanship and lovely design! The colors are greyed & subtle, and evoke a romantic autumn on the heath; the patterning is intricately folkloric without being sentimental or trite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Worth It I don't know if the designer of this sweater is new -- or was just inspired. However, this sweater -- in both color and design -- seems unique even among PC sweaters. I simply haven't seen the mauves, light blues, and other colors that permeate this particular sweater. Nor, I believe, have I seen a pointelle stitch quite like the one used on this alpaca sweater, which is perfectly integrated into the design. In addition, as another reviewer rightfully commented, the sweater has a wonderful "hourglass" shape. The overall effect is one of soft, pleasing colors within a beautiful fit and design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful sweater but had to return it I would have given this item 5 stars except the XL i ordered had a quirkey pooch at the hip line. When I called to replace with another (i loved this sweater) I was told they were all made with this odd pooch on left side. By looking at it, rather than following contour of line they just jutted out for extra space. It would have never flattened out so sadly, it had to go back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous! I'll say it again, gorgeous! Perfect fit. It really does nip in at the waist - this is wonderful for those of us with an "hourglass" figure. I know this is pricey, but I knit and I can't imagine the hours spent on this sweater. Worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even better in person... I bought this thinking it was very pricey, but after seeing it in person the quality might be worth it. The colors are stunning in person with purples, teals, slates, oranges, etc every possible color you can think of. It fits true to size. The sleeve cuffs fold up nicely for shorter arms. It is the same length as the model pictured on a petite frame. Just below the waist the pattern looks like love birds (I am not sure if that was the intent, but it is cute anyway). Can be worn open or closed, with pants or skirt. Probably will wear it with leggings and cute knee high boots. I cannot wait to wear it for winter. Almost makes me long for snow...I said almost :)
