Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Turtleneck I loved the turtleneck - it is a great length and thickness so that I can wear it by itself or use it for layering. The only thing that I did not expect was the small vents on each side at the bottom; I think I would prefer that these were not there but it is not a big deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful but colours different I love this jumper - ultra comfortable and I am very sensitive to that kind of thing. My only comment is that the colours on the computer are different from the colours of the jumpers. Mangrove is more browny olive in reality, and the Calibre is a much paler colour. I know this varies according to how you calibrate your monitor, but my Mac is generally accurate for other sites. This makes me a little nervous re what Rosewood is like, but I am tempted none the less!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Turtlenecks I've Ever Bought I've been shopping with Peruvian Connection for 15 years, but only recently anted up for a couple of these turtlenecks. Like one of the other reviewers, I'd been getting my T-necks at Land's End, but the pima cotton and wonderful Peruvian Connection colors enticed me--and now I will never go back. The silkiness of the pima, the weight of the fabric, the just-the-right-height-and-not-too-tight turtle, the hemmed sleeves, the neck the same knit as the body, the slits at the bottom, the quality of the construction--I'm hooked for life. And, for me at least (5'7", a fairly busty size 12), the fit couldn't be more perfect. They fit where they should and are not so form-fitting around the middle that they show off your midriff bulge; I've never had a more flattering fit in a turtleneck. So I cast my vote with the first reviewer: Best turtlenecks on the planet!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Functional without the "fun" I love pima cotton, so I thought this would be the perfect T-neck to go with lots of outfits. The neck is too wide and stiff; the color is more "eggshell" than ivory, and material is thick. I would've preferred thinner fabric and a more shaped fit. This fits me more like a tunic. I will keep it and enjoy it, but will probably look for another ivory T-neck elsewhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Okay - not great I am usually a size 8, a medium, but this is large on me. If I had tried it on in a store I wouldn't have bought it, despite the reasonable price, but it's not bad enough to return. And the color is great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit way off, color not great A few years ago I bought several Peruvian Connection pima turtlenecks in beautiful jewel tones which I have worn to rags, and I hoped to replace them. I don't have the buxom/svelte figure featured in the catalog and I prefer a loose fit. I ordered these because the "classic" cut is straight-sided. However, they look terrible on me. Laid out flat on top of a Land's End turtleneck in the same size, large, the Peruvian Connection top is 1" shorter on each side at the top shoulder seam (measured between neck and top of arm), and 1" less wide across the body of the turtleneck on each side (so 4" less in circumference at the hips) BUT it has armholes cut as deeply as the Lands' End and sleeves as long. I couldn't wear the Peruvian Connection turtleneck in a smaller size: in a medium the sleeves would be too short, the shoulders too tight, and the hips quite fitted. Yet in a size large, the deep armholes make me look depressingly flat-chested. I have to send these back. For what it's worth, the sleeves are hemmed but not cuffed, which is a more stylish look than the Land's End turtleneck but potentially not as practical. The mangrove color is a muddier brown than I'd expected--more taupe, with no green in it. The turtlenecks I am trying to replace are wonderful greeny browns (and/or browny greens) and dark burgundy-purples--colors which work well underneath my Peruvian Connection sweaters--colors which I now can't find anywhere, even at Peruvian Connection. My search must continue elsewhere . . .
