Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as expected This has been a huge disappointment as the neck just flops down loosely and if it is folded over to make a fairly neat collar the seam shows. I would have sent it back had I not been so keen to wear it I didn't try it out first. I was told the sizes did not vary from batch to batch so am reluctant to waste time trying another. This was the cream coloured one so I don't know if the other colours are the same. it is generally a very generous fit and long in the sleeves and body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely T neck I purchased two of these in my normal size - small. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. The colors are luscious!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Staple winter top Neckline has become loser in fit and doesn't keep its shape. Please bring back the original design/fabric and keep the subtle colour palette. This is a great staple winter top to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! Only T-neck I will wear anymore I love and collect these. The turtleneck is not the basic tight stocking fit, which is exactly what I like and need. The body is long and slimming and the fit is great alone or under another top. I just love all the colors because they are unusual and every one is flattering. The fabric wears like iron, I have had a couple of mine for 4 years and they do not fade, shrink, or pill. I have not seen a grey toned one yet and would appreciate one of those in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The cut has changed I have been ordering these tops for a few years and have always loved them. This year the cut has changed. The T-neck is shorter and wider and does not sit snug against the neck, but flops in loose folds, and the whole top is shorter and wider. I have not shrunk. I compared this year's with the same top from last year and the year before and there is definitely a difference. Please bring back the original cut, as these were my favourite lightweight tops!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loose neck on Extreme Tee I agree with those who find the neck of this tee too loose and are unhappy with it. I have bought a number of these. Two years ago the necks were wonderfully close fitting and looked much more chic than this year's for that reason. I hope the designers go back to the tighter fit. It's much more elegant and warmer, too. As is, I probably will not buy another of these in the future - unless the fit of the neck returns to the original.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as pictured but still worthwhile I ordered 2 of these t-necks. The neck is more loose than pictured, does not stand up but lays in folds at the base of the neck more. I thought about sending them back but the fabric is very nice, overall the cut and fit is high quality, and it is very hard to find turtlenecks in colors this beautiful. I ended up taking in the turtleneck a bit over an inch. I also took in the side seams, as the fit is not as fitted as pictured here. I am between sizes and had gone with the small instead of medium and am glad I did, since I still ended up taking it in a bit. Overall I am very happy with these shirts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i beg to differ! funny about the neck controversy. i have a long, rather thin neck and i love the way this turtleneck fits. who wants a tight one that binds? but then, i love a cowl neck, though this is definitely a turtleneck, just not a rigidly designed one. the loose waves of fabric array themselves quite artfully on one's frame, i think. perhaps many folks think of a turtlenck as a straight funnel or one that folds over once. this is much more interesting, and flattering, i think. i hope to get many more in different colors. the verdigris and tobacco and the slatey blue (i forget the colorful name) are great shades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product - large neck I bought a large. The necks are very, very baggy and they are on their way to the tailor. That said, the arms are long enough and that is a victory, and fabric is comfy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big disappointment It's hard to understand why in the 4 reviews posted, 2 loved this and 2 hated it. Sorry, but I have to agree with the critical pair. I love the color and like high turtlenecks. This neck was impossibly loose (much too large), and I tried everything I could do to make it work. Nada. I also thought the body fit was rather tight, but the photo did show that it was quite fitted, so I can't complain about that. If you can design a high t-neck in that fabric in verdigris that actually fits, please let me know.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Neck too big I ordered three of these t-necks, hoping that the necks would be tighter fitting than they were last season, but they're even bigger, almost like cowl necks, even in my usual XS. The body of the t-necks were also too big in two of the three colors I received, so there's a sizing consistency problem, as well. I sent back two of the t-necks and may have the neck of the third altered to match the fit on the model.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissatisfied I loved the look of the snug bunched neck of this t-neck. However, it is very lose fitting and falls at the base of my neck in an unsightly pile. Not the look I anticipated at all! I'm very dissatisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential items I have just bought two more of these long neck tees to add to my growing collection. Ideal for the young and skinny, they are also perfect for the older person like me, wishing to cover and flatter an ageing neck by hiding it! The silky finish and neat fit makes them perfect to wear under any sweater, poncho, tunic or jacket. They also wash beautifully. Definitely autumn and winter wardrobe essentials.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful T-neck!! I ordered both the extreme and the classic to see which I liked best. I LOVE them BOTH!! The pima fabric is divine.....very high quality. Luscious! The classic fits looser than the extreme obviously. For me it is one I can wear alone or under something. For me, the extreme will have to be worn under something because I have a bit too much to hide. I do like its longer length however...even tho I cannot take advantage of it. Both are great T-necks.....just order them!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good wardrobe staple I've bought a few of these over last couple years. Just bought another black and one in thistle. They are very flattering, the neck is excellent as it stays in place, not too tight but enough Lycra to do the job. The top is very long if you pull it down but equally you can bunch it up round you. Washes very well, no bobbling and stays looking new after many washes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality, fit, and versatility I bought two, in black and white, and am impressed by the quality of the fabric and the fit. I also like the longer length that you can adjust (due to the fitted shape) depending on what you wear it with. They fit true to size and will go with anything: skirts, pants, sweaters, etc. I also like that they are sleek enough to fit smoothly, without adding bulk, under my coats (even my most fitted leather jacket) and sleeveless dresses.
